KMWP - Ecuador Connections

In 2009, KMWP Director Dawn Kirby and that year's Summer Institute Co-Director, Jennifer Dail, traveled to Quito for a week of workshops, networking, and planning with local teachers.

This working trip built a partnership between Kennesaw State University's International Projects and Colegio Menor San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador, an American school just outside the capital.

As part of this relationship, two Ecuadorian elementary education teachers come to Kennesaw each summer to participate in the KMWP Summer Institute.
