Summer Sessions 2012
Welcome!
Below is a listing of the wonderful offerings we have for youth this summer.

Prior to registering through the KMWP "store" at the KSU mall,
please be sure to click below and read the
Liability Waiver, Internet Acceptable Use Policy, and Photo/Videotape Release.
Also, please have student with you during the registration process or
have him/her answer the following questions before you begin:
1. Briefly describe why you are attending this session.
2. Briefly describe your hobbies or interests.
3. Briefly describe how you feel about writing in general (favorite genres, challenges, etc.)

Summer Sessions 2012
Creative Writing (High School) - June 11 - 15
Creative Writing (Middle School) - June 25 - 29
Explore your talents through fiction, poetry, and memoir.
Write with style and voice in a supportive environment.
Teen Writers Studio (High School) - June 18 - 22
Join a community of serious writers and writing coaches to sharpen your skills
and receive candid commentary on your writing (all genres). Participants create a
digital anthology and explore publication opportunities.
Write from the Beginning (9th/10th grades) - June 18 - 22
For rising 9th and 10th graders preparing for the challenges of academic writing in
AP and Honors courses. Focus on structure and language through creative digital storytelling
techniques while you workshop a personal essay.
Each week-long session is $150.00
(Early bird registration has closed.)
***Register before May 4, 2012, and pay only $140 per session.***
All sessions are from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Kennesaw State University
